Diana Wallis MEP with Liberal Democrat activists on her visit to Cleethorpes

As the phoney war for the expected General Election on May 5th hots up, the region's Liberal Democrat Euro MP, Diana Wallis, met party workers in Cleethorpes at the Kingsway Hotel, Friday 27th January

Ahead of the meeting Diana Wallis said, 'the Liberal Democrats are well placed to make a real advance in both Grimsby and Cleethorpes at the General Election, expected in May.'

' With Labour's support in the polls much down compared to four years ago and with the Tories in disarray locally, both the Cleethorpes and Grimsby seats have real potential for the Liberal Democrats. I will be working hard with local activists to achieve that potential.'
