Diana backs Ming Campbell in leadership contest

MEPs Diana Wallis and Sarah Ludford with Ming Campbell

As Liberal Democrat members across the region start to receive their ballot papers for the party's leadership contest, local Euro MP Diana Wallis is backing the Lib Dems Acting Leader Ming Campbell.

The Liberal Democrat MEP for Yorkshire & the Humber said:

"For me, Ming Campbell has the right combination of skills allied to enormous experience. He also has the ability to unite the party after a difficult few weeks and harness the real talent which we now have."
