Diana makes keynote speech at international Child Slavery conference2.57.00pm GMT Sun 30th Nov 2008
Diana has made a keynote speech at international Child Slavery conference at the Wilberforce Institute for the study of Slavery and Emancipation (WISE), University of Hull. She spoke at some length about the successful Written Declaration on Child Trafficking she co-sponsored in the European Parliament. The conference examined all forms of child slavery and focused in particular on the need for further political and policy action, as well as the further development of services to support and rehabilitate children who are freed from slavery.
